Secure Digital High Capacity Memory Card (SDHC)

SDHC cards are similar shape and size to standard SD cards, but will only work in the SDHC compatible devices (Please check for the SDHC on your device packaging). SDHC cards have been designed with reliability and durability in mind, ideal for storing large amounts of images, movie files and music. The class of the card determines the minimum sustained write speed to the card in megabytes.

The increasing use of high-definition video and high-resolution digital photography demands higher storage capacity and more demanding data transfer rates.
